More Favorite Recipes
Lemonberry Cooler
2 parts North Shore Vodka
4 parts Lemonade
½-1 part Raspberry Liqueur (Chambord or Mathilde)
Splash of Club Soda
Pour vodka and lemonade over ice, stir. Add club soda, and then slowly pour liqueur down the side of the glass. Garnish with fresh berries.
Gin Rickey No. 6
Suggested by Iain Alexander - this was a favorite in his cocktail tasting group (and isn't that a fun idea)?
2 oz Distiller's Gin No. 6
Juice of half a lime
Club soda to taste
Fill glass with ice, add gin & lime. Top up with soda and enjoy. As Iain says: "No garnish required. This goes down easy and doesn't need to look pretty." Thanks Iain!

Additional Notes on Tonic Water
If you were intrigued by our review of tonic waters in the last issue, you simply must go to Custom House in Chicago and try their house-made tonic. Its amazing. Tim Lacey, their beverage director, also makes great cola from scratch.
You can find Fever Tree mixers at The Wine Cellar in Palatine as well as at Schaefer's in Skokie.
And we've received one very positive report back on QTonic - please let us know if you see it around!
